Effective ways to study
Welcome! If you clicked on this article, then maybe you’re interested in new, efficient ways to study. I already appreciate you so much! 😊 Keeping your mind open to new strategies is admirable. 🌈
Before I properly begin, I want to say that every person is unique. We all have our own ways of studying. So my ideas are not the best, but I hope they can help, in case you haven’t got your style figured out yet. 💙
Calligraphy – so stylish!
For some, calligraphy plays an important part. A neat and artistic type of writing could be the key to success. Some people memorize faster if the notes are neatly written. 💯 For others, calligraphy is not very important. For example, your notes could be messy and full of doodles, but if it was YOU who wrote them, then information becomes personal, hence easy to memorize (this applies to me).😋
Colours – The more the merrier!
Make it bright! Make it colorful! Make it the way you love it!🌈 If you like organizing things and labeling everything nicely, you gotta use this technique! Highlight the important information with your preferred colours.
Flashcards – For the logophiles!
I think using flashcards is one of the best exercises when learning new words. Fast to make, easy to use. 🌟Win-win!
Use your logic
When you study, I suggest you memorize things logically. Learning by heart could also be effective, depending on the case. When you learn things by heart, you remember them for a short time only, unless you use the information frequently. Logic stays forever.
Creativity has no limits
When I had to learn new words, I used to put them into sentences about me/my life. The funnier, the better. Of course during exams I would create different examples😂, but it was the meaning that I wanted to keep in mind. You could go beyond that. I sometimes made short stories and poems with words I had to remember. 🌟
Repetition is the key
This really worked for me. I needed to repeat over and over until I was fully convinced I had everything set. This is also good for confidence. If you know you are ready, success is guaranteed. 💪
Environment – Make it productive!
Some people study with music in the background. Others prefer complete silence. Some turn their beds into desks, while others study in a more formal environment. Pen and paper? Or Computer? How about some healthy treats to keep you going? 🤗 Try out different styles and you’ll find your own!
