Boost your motivation
You wake up one day. And that’s it – you know perfectly what you’re supposed to do, whether that’s learning a foreign language or getting a skill you’ve always found interesting. You keep up the hard work for a week or so and then… something happens. Suddenly, it doesn’t feel achievable. It’s hard and maybe not as fun as you thought it’d be.
If that sounds familiar, don’t worry, I got your back!
How to boost your motivation:
- Remember why you started
What is the reason you started the new journey? Your motivation derives from it. Maybe you deeply wish for a new life or maybe your purpose is helping others. No matter the reason you started this, don’t lose sight of it!
Nothing keeps me motivated like a good quote. I have printed some of my favourites. I even bought framed ones and placed them in different rooms.
- Songs/ Podcasts
Start the day energized by the thought of doing something productive for your goal. If mornings are hard (I get that), then choose the right playlist to make you jump out of your bed. Play a podcast. Successful people are there for you to inspire your entire day!
- Get organized
Make lists. Prioritize your goals. Reserve some time for you to work on what truly matters. Finding the way is a lot easier when you know the path.
We can not choose our family, but we have a word to say when it comes to friends. Make sure you surround yourself with people who are there for you. True friends should encourage you. Always! Stay away from those who bring you down. You don’t need their opinions.
